Uinta Brewing has announced plans to expand its distribution footprint throughout the Midwest, with imminent launches set in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Missouri.
The Salt Lake City brewery has partnered with Wirtz Beverage Group for statewide coverage in Minnesota and Wisconsin and has teamed up with both Wirtz and Major Brands Distributing in Missouri.
“We have had a substantial amount of requests for our beer in these territories and we’re anxious to finally share our beer with consumers across the Midwest and with a solid distributor partner,” said Steve Kuftinec, Uinta’s vice president of sales, in a news release detailing the expansion.
The brewery will launch in the new territories with Hop Nosh IPA, Detour Double IPA, and other core and specialty offerings.
Including the new territories, Uinta beers are now sold in 32 states and Washington, D.C. The brewery launched distribution in Kansas in February. Uinta, which in 2014 sold a partial stake to a private equity firm, sold more than 77,000 barrels in 2014.
