GREEN BAY, WI – After opening in early December, Badger State Brewing Company has released their Green Chop Session IPA as part of their year-round beer lineup beginning Friday, Jan. 10.
“This is an IPA for everyone,” said Sam Yanda, Head Brewmaster of Badger State Brewing Co. “Session ales are a relatively new and upcoming trend in the brewing world. We wanted to capture the robust hoppiness of an IPA without the harsh hop bitterness seen in some renditions of this style.”
Brewed with six different American hop varieties, the Green Chop Session IPA is an amber colored ale combining bright, earthy flavors blended with tropical fruit aromas, which are balanced by a malt base leading to a slightly spicy but clean finish.
The Green Chop Session IPA will complete Badger State Brewing Co.’s current list of year-round beers. In addition to Wisconsin bars and restaurants, the Green Chop Session IPA will be available for in house growler sales in 64 ounce containers at the brewery.
Brewery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday. For more information about Badger State Brewing Co., contact Andrew Fabry, President of Badger State Brewing Co., at 920-634-5687 or by visiting www.badgerstatebrewing.com.
