SEATTLE — Green’s Brewery and Merchant du Vin are pleased and proud to announce that a fourth variety of Green’s gluten-free beer will join the Merchant du Vin portfolio this summer: Green’s Enterprise Dry-Hopped Gluten-Free Lager.
Green’s Enterprise is made from gluten-free ingredients, like Green’s Discovery Amber, Endeavour Dubbel, and Quest Tripel: sorghum, millet, buckwheat, rice, water, hops, and yeast. It offers a pale gold color; light body; superb, clean, easy-drinking flavor; and the crisp satisfaction of perfect conditioning highlighted by a bright, floral hop finish. (Dry-hopping is the addition of hops in secondary fermentation, which adds hop aroma and flavor without extreme bitterness.) Brewed at one of Belgium’s most respected and high-tech breweries, De Proef in Gent, Enterprise Dry-Hopped Lager has 4.1% ABV so it is perfect for consumers looking for a gluten-free session beer.
In April 2013, Green’s Enterprise Dry-Hopped Lager was chosen as the Top Gluten-Free beer at London’s Free From Food Awards.
Pair it with gluten-free pizza, with hearty soups and stews made from gluten-free ingredients, and with your favorite sporting event.
Green’s gluten-free beers are sold in a case of twelve 500 ml (16.9 oz.) bottles. Look for Enterprise Dry-Hopped Lager starting in August, 2013.
In addition to Green’s gluten-free ales, Merchant du Vin imports Samuel Smith’s from England; Ayinger and Certified Organic Pinkus beers from Germany; Traquair House from Scotland; Lindemans lambics, Du Bocq, and the Trappist beers of Orval, Westmalle, and Rochefort from Belgium.
