Job Summary
We are seeking an outgoing, motivated self-starter that has 5+ years of managerial sales experience in the Chicagoland beer market to work directly with ownership. A successful individual in this role, has a quality over quantity approach and is able to fortify existing relationships while building new ones in a manner that exemplifies the values and attitudes of the entire team here at Phase Three.
It is important to note that being in a Director Level position at Phase Three is a dynamic role where you will be expected to lead others and take on challenges as they arise with a positive attitude and solution-driven mindset.
**Note, only individuals with 5+ years of managerial beer sales experience IN THE CHICAGOLAND MARKET will be considered for this position**
Job Description and Responsibilities
Works directly with company ownership on oversight of local and out-of-state distribution and local and out-of-state beer festivals.
Tasked with advising and assisting ownership and production teams with quarterly and annual production planning.
Creates and delivers concise and accurate monthly analysis of product sales, inventory, account history, and all distribution-related expenses.
Manages rolling beer festival schedule - locally, nationally, and internationally to ensure strong brand representation. This includes staffing, beer selection, and all related logistics.
Oversees and manages a local and out-of-state distribution team consisting of a Distribution Manager, (3) Account Managers, (2) Delivery Drivers and a warehouse supervisor.
Directly accountable for product allocation, sales team operations, and distribution team member training and development.
Orchestrates all out-of-state distributor relationships and sales. Works with a growing number of distributors to facilitate a healthy presence in various markets both throughout American and the world along with handling production allocation, allocation projections, and all related logistics.
Develop and maintain existing and new distributor relationships.
Develop and maintain existing and new chain account relationships.
Work cross functionally with the Marketing Director to create, build and execute marketing programs, POS items and explore branding opportunities.
Travel as needed to support brand growth and outer market distributor relationships.
Compensation
Our financial compensation for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 annually with potential for additional $10,000 in annual bonuses.
Additionally, we offer a great BCBS PPO for full health, dental, vision at which we cover 80% for salaried employees and 60% for dependents. This position is also eligible for cell phone, mileage reimbursement, paid time off, and sick pay.
