Sales Regional Manager - New England Territory


Compensation: Base: $50,000 - $75,000 + Commission


Job Summary:

Qualifications: 5+ years beer distribution sales experience and sales development. Territory based in New England with primary focus in Boston.


Primary Responsibilities: Open new points of distribution. Increase velocity with existing points of distribution. Oversee New England territory and manage wholesaler network performance to increase on- and off-premise sales and brand awareness. Set all on- and off-premise sales and distribution goals for wholesaler network. Develop and communicate pricing programs. Assist with wholesaler, retail, and brewery inventory management and forecasting. Interpret sales analytical data and make recommendations for future sales strategies to drive revenue and increase brand strength. Complete regional monthly and quarterly on- and off-premise sales forecasting. Help coordinate Sales Programs with Production, Packaging, and Marketing. Report to the Director of Sales.


Duties/Other Responsibilities:

  • Work to establish new accounts.
  • Assist with the coordination of sales efforts for other territories with other sales representatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Has an existing craft beer distribution network
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationships with clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling.
  • Thorough knowledge of territory, market, and clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.  
  • Organized with attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Five years of distribution sales experience required.
