Finback Brewery is seeking a General Manager for our three taprooms in NYC

We are looking for a hospitality driven, detail oriented team leader to manage and work with each local team at our three locations within the city. The candidate should be enthusiastic, personable, possess a strong work ethic, and able to execute at a high level. Finback is a brewer owned brewery, driven by creativity and quality, with locations in both Queens and Brooklyn. We are proud of our positive team and work environment and looking for an awesome person to join us.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain and Evolve taproom business and culture
  • Leading and coordinating teams at each taproom, with eye towards constant improvement and developing excellent hospitality experiences
  • Execute plans to grow revenue and profitability
  • Work with production and marketing teams to achieve goals
  • Manage SOPs and ongoing improvements to operations
  • Compliance to industry best practices, alcoholic beverage serving, and any state, county or city regulatory requirements

 

Requirements:

ยท      3+ years experience in Hospitality or Bar Management, fine dining experience and/or high volume service a plus

  • 2+ years Managerial Experience of team of 5+ people
  • Passionate about craft beer, alcoholic beverages and Creative Mission of Finback Brewery
  • Coordinate and Manage multiple locations (Finback LIC, Finback Brooklyn, FInback Glendale)
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to inspire and motivate team
  • Excellent time management skills, work independently and execute at a high level
  • Excellent self-starter
  • Leadership with strong empathy and ability to train, retain, and develop diverse team
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Physically active and able to work long periods in a fast paced bar and dining environment
  • Meticulous Cash management
  • Exceptional attention to cleanliness, aesthetics of space and vibe
  • Management of inventories, scheduling and administrative work

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $85,000.00)
